A trip to Hoover Dam in the 1930 American Austin Coupe

This was a fun drive (at least for me ).  It drops off pretty good from Boulder City and the road winds around a bit.  We parked at the parking garage and had a lot of people check out the car.

I was amazed how much interest there was in the car and then Jan reminded me most of the people we were talking with were from other countries.

We walked across the dam and took a lot of photos then we drove across the dam and took a few more.

We had about a 35 mph head wind on the way back to Boulder City and traveling up a very step grade made  life a little exciting.  When were got back to Boulder City we had to have an ice cream!
