Turlock Swap Meet

January 25-26, 2003

Turlock is one of Northern California's best swap meets.  It's held every year on Super Bowl weekend.  I have been lucky enough the last few years to share a spot (on the grass E-29 & 31) with a good friend of mine, Gary Pecka.  We arrive Friday afternoon and leave Sunday afternoon.  It's always a good time whatever the weather is and it can be bad in January.  This year the weather was good, just a little drizzle on Saturday.  Click on a thumbnail below for a larger picture.  Stop by and see us next year.

All set up and ready to go!

Gary Pecka.

The sun is going down and getting cold. We started a camp fire. Nothing like camping out in a big wrecking yard!

Saturday Morning.

Next year I'm going to take a picture from the top of those grand stands to show how big this meet is.

a look around.

After a long day.
